Loren Lott, who was recently let go from her role as The Young and the Restless' Ana Hamilton, is thrilled to share that she has already found post-daytime success.

Fans who were brokenhearted to lose American Idol alum Loren Lott (Ana Hamilton) from the canvas of The Young and the Restless will be happy to hear that they'll soon be seeing the actress/singer on television again. She shares that she has booked a primetime gig.

Lott, who recently filmed her last scene at Y&R, took to Instagram with the enthusiastic message: "I'm booked again!! I can't wait to start filming."

The actress wasn't able to share exactly which show she will be working on, but she reveals that it will be a nighttime series.

"I'm back on primetime! You know what that means: FREE FOOD!! CRAFT SERVICES!! BADDIE MAKEUP!" she teases. "I just want to say, when God closes one door, he opens another. Trust him! I'm forever grateful."

Lott joined Y&R in November of 2018 as Devon's (Bryton James) little sister and played the role until this summer, when she was let go because the powers that be "didn't know what to do with my storyline and they wanted to spend their budget increasing other people's storylines." At the time of her exit from the CBS soap, she said she had "no bitterness" toward Y&R and was looking forward to future opportunities in her career.
